Ohrid

Left for ohrid Macedonia at 7 pm on the best bus line the country had to offer: no bathroom , dirty, insane driving, and they didn't even check our tickets. It was ONLY for ten hours so no big deal. Crossing boarders here is a nightmare. Customs searched the entire bus and everyone's luggage at like 1in the morning. We got to ohrid a little after 2 am and the guy who owns the hostel wasn't there, but some one let us in and we crashed on the couch.
Once you get away from the one main tourist street the city is calm and beautiful. The lake, the mountains, cute old cars, even cuter old people. We hung out by the water and had a party for Julies birthday at the hostel.
We got up late today. I went down to the water alone to wake up and  recharge and got stuck in a huge rain storm. I was stuck in a little cafe four about an hour with this amazing local woman who lived in California for years, taught dance, and performed at Carnegie Hall. She invited me to stay with her in Belgrade in a week, but I'll be gone by then.
It got nice again and we spend the rest of the day seeing the churches and castle. Its hard to describe how perfect everything looks. Just look at the pictures!
