monkeys

Went to Galta today. It is a bunch of temples that are over run with monkeys. They are everywhere. We bought some peanuts to feed them and they started to attack sunni. They come right up and touch you and climb on your legs. One mother monkey came right up to and ripped the bag of peanuts out of my hands and threw them everywhere. After visiting the monkey temple you can walk to a sun temple that allows you to view the whole city (there are monkeys everywhere there too). Before going back to the hotel we had our driver take us this old marble place called the Royal Gaitor in the old city. It was in the best condition of all the places that we have been so far. Because India just lets everyone wander around without supervision, alot of the places are pretty worn down and vandalized. This place was still in perfect condition. We just got back from Chokhi Dhani which is what I can only describe as India's version of Disney land. They had dancers and musicians and goofy kids rides. We rode a camel, had a great dinner, and walked around completely baffled by India's ultra cheesy version of a theme park.
