war museum

Of course we went to the war museum in Ho Chi Mihn. I think it might also be the ONLY museum in the city. It's much more even handed than the one in Hanoi (which is just basically a giant middle finger to the US). The museum is filled with the horrors of the Vietnam war, but is clearly set up to advocate peace. They have selections from major war photographers from several countries and a really sad exhibit on the long term effects of agent orange (including how it hurt US soldiers).
