Penang

Penang island is a supposed to be pretty touristy.  Not on the off season!  It's like our own private Island. We went the tourist beach and had it literaraly to ourselves for the day. We watched over 100 dolphins swim across the bay and swam in questionable jelly fish water.  No stings - just sunburns.  The next day we hiked a few hours through penang national park.  We saw spiders the size of your fist,  inch long ants,  butterflies,  a few monkies,  and lots of mangrove tress.  Our hike ended at a sea turtle conservatory.  We got to see baby turtles and got to burn our feet on blazing hot sand.  We hired a boat to money beach a few min away and swam (thankfully no monkeys).  The boat ride was a little scary.  Thy guy made is get on without docking the boat and didn't have any life jackets.  He went REALLY FAST. Sunni looked like she was going lose it.  By the time we hiked back we were exasusted.  Unfortunately,  the bus was 1 1/2 hours late.  We ended up in some guys van with 10 other tourists.  Thank you guy from Florida who talked him into taking us all back into town.
